PC Fair

First time ever, I tried to work at PC Fair...since I came to KL...Well, get introduced by Yew Fei at last minute, for instance...the day before the official day of PC Fair. Kinda rushing and suddenness for me actually.


So once again, I couldn't sleep well that night as I was wondering that was I able to do sales successfully or not. Honestly speaking, this was my first time to do something that related to "hit target" and "commission". In addition, I was worried and doubted of my own persuasive skill, which is to promote - L.A.P.T.O.P.

Well, I just blame myself that I wasn't tough and initiative enough to attract and persuade customers. So I wouldn't expect I get a good sales volumes at the beginning stage. Therefore, I thought that it would be okay for me if I could sell at least 1 laptop. Ya, I did that at the first day. But seeing other staff were so aggressively to hit their the targets as many as they could, I started to feel the atmosphere of tense....I pushed myself to the customers, trying to be as "friendly" as I could...just to attract more customers. Well I don't like this kind of feeling, as I felt like I was behaving like a doggie.....

Tiring 3 days of mine, I had to stand most of the time....from 11am to 10pm....Can you imagine how tired is it?! Moreover, I had to keep on saying the same things to different customers, repeatedly! And now, I feel like my throat is kinda painful and soreful, hell ya! Not only this, I didn't have my meals in time...where I had to delay few hours later....The economic rice was just fine, but the place I had my meal was at ........store room.....Kinda pity rite? Alone some more.....

Lunch = Plain rice + Ham + Vege + Potato

I thought I could enjoy working in this kinda environment, but then in contrast.....I didn't like it, or allow me to say, I hate it! Firstly, some customers...who promised to come to me to buy laptop later on but finally emptied their promise....Secondly, got teased by customers for not knowing the particular specs. And finally, which really pissed me off....was basically the staff itself!

Why do I say so? In a nutshell, I've experienced the sales field....the staff were not only aggressively to hit their own targets...but instead, they were trying to be nasty in order to reach their own intentions. For instance, grabbing someone's customers....treated him/her to be the staff's so-called customers.....and sad to say, I was one of the victims...who was being bullied by other staff. Ya, perhaps Yew Fei was correct....just treated other staff as my opponents or enemies....I couldn't do that because I really guilty....but in turn, most of them treated me badly... Example, pushing to aside...or without manners, grabbing my customers verbally....Those still okay, as I'm still a beginner in this field....as what I aimed for was just few sales instead of bundle sales. What pissing me off the most was that, when I intended to serve one prospect customer, and she was going to purchase the laptop....one girl staff came to me and scold me that I grabbed her customer! What the hell was that! She was serving other customers at that moment, and my customer supposed to be approaching to me instead of her! How could she say like that? As she was so dissatisfied as I'd just grabbed her so called "customer", she went to tell staff around her...telling them how bad was I....Wacow!!!!!!!! Not only this, as I was serving new customer, she tended to be disturbing me......I believe without her, I could sell out that laptop! Well, just because of her one sentence.."He don't really know that laptop la!" The customer turned and went away!

I was calming myself after this.....I was murmuring all those rude words...Starting from 5pm, I tended not to attract customers anymore, as I was super duber fed up and pissed off! My mood was totally down at the end of the day....I rather not to speak anything...I sat alone...I was moody...I saw that shit fella I was kinda wanting to beat her up!

But things wouldn't be pessismistic all the time.....thanks my another gang of friends...as they were motivating and consoling me when I was down...Thanks Fei, Carmen, Wei Hann, Yu and the blackie cute girl...You guys were awesome...joking together....and laughed together...I enjoyed that moment actually!

Anyway, I will always remember the porno-joke..."Buy one laptop, free one stick of ice cream, two small balls of baskin robbins and seeweed, new ice cream combination! Only for girls! No man!" Ya, this really made me to laugh for quite a while......

Mr Fei, who successfully hit 10 laptops' sale. He should thank me...ngek ngek ngek~

That's it, end of my story....To conclude, this is my first time working at PC Fair and it mostly will be the last time for me to work as well... Frankly speaking, I don't like this kinda job!
